HAL9K is a hacker-/maker-/creative-space in Aalborg, Denmark.
Where: Our space is the white building at Rapsgade 1. Bus bus 11, 14, 15, 17 and 18 pass by 10 min on foot from here, and it's only slightly longer to walk from Nytorv so there's a bunch of busses there too.

We have founded the hackerspace on 2011-02-19 and are currently awaiting “official” approval from Aalborg Kommune. To gain some economical weight we have jointed forces with Platform4, Tossestreger and Nitusind.nu. A lot of interests are shared between the groups which hopefully means that co-existence will be of no problem. As a result, May 1 we are moving into the co-working space “FormuLab” at Rapsgade 1.
We are now in a “bootstrapping” phase: to get more members we need our space, but to stay in our space in the long term we need more members. We are therefore actively seeking sponsorships: rent support, equipment or events.
